Can a helium-filled inflatable be dangerous?
No. Helium gas is completely safe, non-explosive and non-flammable. It doesn't pollute the environment.

When and where can inflatables be used?
- as advertisement: to draw attention, inform, convince and make people remember. - length of usage: on a one or more days event, on a weekly campaign and during the launching period or even continuously
- place of usage: at exhibitions, events, at the point-of-sales, on site or close to roadways
- number of inflatables: one inflatable can be used for one location and can be moved between different places as well.

How high can inflatables be let up?
Up to a maximum of 50 m height.

Is there any supervision needed for the helium-filled inflatable?
YES. Continuous supervision is required. Do not use the balloon in strong wind and in temperatures under 5°C! Do not let the balloon up near an electrical overhead wire! Do not leave the packed balloon in the blazing sun!

Do you train the operation staff?
YES. MAXBALLOON Ltd. provides professional trainings of safety operation and gives you instructions for the usage of the inflatables.

Can helium-filled inflatable be used in wind?
YES. They can be used in an up to 20-30 km/h strong wind that would still ensure the free movement of the inflatable.

From which kind of materials are inflatable made of?
The balloons are made of special PVC. The thickness of the material depends on the place and frequency of usage. For example a helium-filled inflatable is made of a 0.18 mm thin, soft PVC, while a cold-air inflatable game is made of a 630 g/m2 thick, plastic covered textile.

Which colours are available?
We have a wide selection of ground-colours like red, blue, yellow, white, silver, green, etc. which you can choose from but you can also choose your inflatable from the Pantone colour-scale. These Pantone colours, however, are pricier.

How can advertisement be placed on the inflatables?
By painting or printed banners. Types of methods depends on the shape and usage of the inflatable.

What kind of authorization is needed for the operation?
You either need authorization from the owner of the property where you want to build up the inflatables or from other local authorities.

Are there any size limitations?
Not actually. Our biggest inflatable was 18 m high but it is possible to produce bigger ones as well. Depending on the shape or the location where the inflatable will stand, pillars can be used.

Can I rent an inflatable?
YES. We do provide standard inflatables for rent but only in Hungary. The rental fee contains the operation cost as well. If you would like to operate inflatable on your own, you will have to pay us a caution.

How long can an inflatable be used?
The average time period is 3 years. (For example: the "ESSO Tigers" on the roof of petrol stations are still sitting there for more than 3 years.)

How can the inflatable be transported?
The helium-filled inflatables are transported deflated to the location where either a specialist or one of our colleagues can inflate them. Please contact us to get information about how to transport an inflated inflatable.

Is the Walking Inflatable dangerous for the hostess inside?
NO. The mini fan-blower - operated by 12Volts - is absolutely not dangerous for the hostess. It can be operated up to 3,5 hours with one recharge. The battery is placed in a mini sportsbag which the hostess carries on the hip.

Our inflatables are made by order but there are standard inflatables on stock, so the delivery can be faster.

YES. There are used inflatables for rental and purchase. You can buy them for a 10-30% less price.

How long does the production of an inflatable take?
Production time depends on the type of the inflatable. The production period of a standard cold-air inflatable and a standard helium-filled inflatable is approx. 4-6 weeks. The production time of a custom-designed cold-air inflatable takes approx. 4-8 weeks. Production always depends on the type and size of the inflatable.

What is the difference between a cold-air and a helium-filled inflatable?
The main difference is the type of air inside. The helium-filled inflatable is filled with helium gas, which needs occasional refilling. The cold-air inflatable is operated with a fan-blower. There is difference in the material of the two types. Helium-filled is made of 0,18mm thin PVC, while the cold-air inflatable is made from 160-630 g/m2 thick PVC textile.
